Maggie Grace was born Margaret Grace Denig on September 21, 1983. Maggie Grace is an American Actress best known as Shannon Rutherford in ABC TV series Lost. After her parents' divorce the actress left Worthington in Ohio and moved in Los Angeles. In 2001, despite her finances she managed get her first significant role in the online video series Rachel's Room playing the lead character. In 2002, she was nominated for a Young Artist Award with her role as 15-year old murdered Martha Moxley. Grace Rutherford was the main actress in Lost in its two initial seasons. In 2004, she was awarded the Screen Actors Guild Award with the entire ensemble. Leaving the series Grace was keen to work on film more frequently, having been cast as the opposite of Tom Welling in The Fog in 2005. She also was on screen in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club and, opposite Liam Neeson's Kim Mills as Kim Mills in Taken. Taken 2 (2012), Taken 3 2014 and Taken 4 (2014) Replays of these characters. Grace returned to Shannon's character as Shannon in Lost for two more episodes, including the final episode of the series. Grace appeared on Californication's 6th season which ran from 2013 to the year 2014. The actress portrays Faith as a groupie and is also a model the stars. Hank Moody is played by David Duchovny. As a part of the Gyllenhaal Family, she is the daughter and elder sister to actor Jake Gyllenhaal. The first time she appeared in films of her father when he was an adolescent. Together with her brother she was also as a character in Donnie Darko (2000). Her subsequent roles included Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind in 2002, as well as Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal won critical praise for both her performances as the lead of Secretary (2002), which is an erotic romantic drama and Sherrybaby (2006). The actress was also nominated for her fellow actors for the Golden Globe Award. The year 2006 was the time she had a number of commercially successful films, such as World Trade Center. However, it was her role in the role of Rachel Dawes that brought her greater attention for her performance in The Dark Knight (2008). In recognition of her role as a single mother, in Crazy Heart (2009) she received a nomination for Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Then she appeared in dramas and comedies which included Nanny McPhee's Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011 and Won't Back Down 2012 Other roles she has played includes Secret Service agents in White House Down (2013, action thriller) as well as musicians in Frank (2014 Drama The Kindergarten Teacher 2018) in addition to her role as the kindergarten teacher. Gyllenhaal's first film as a director and writer was in 2021 with The Lost Daughter, a psychological thriller that won her an award at the Venice International Film Festival Best Screenplay Award. The film also won an Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay.
