Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a well-known Indian actress, known for parts in the film Hum Aapke Koun. She began her career in the 80s before coming into prominence thanks to her character in Tezaab, a film in which she appeared with an established actor Anil Kapoor. The next time she appeared on the screen was in Dil with Aamir. In Mumbai her home, she grew up in a family of middle-class parents. When she was a young stage, she was able to study dance. At the age of 15, she started acting but struggled as many of her movies were unsuccessful. Eventually, she found success in Indian filmmaking and rose to the very top. After her wedding, she took a career break before reentering the film industry. She played a major role on Gulaab Gang, a film that explores the struggles of women in India. Dixit was nominated fifteen times to win Filmfare Awards. She won eight of them. Padma Shri is the fourth highest civilian honor in India. In addition, she has been recognized for her efforts in the field of social work.
